Ask your accountant
Invite your accountant as a free, read-only reviewer to choose the treatment policy and sign off closes.
Updated
The treatment policy is your accountant's call, and they may not want to learn a new tool to make it. Ask my accountant sends them everything they need to decide, and lets them record the decision in a few minutes.
What happens
- 01
You send the invite
From the treatment step of setup, or Settings → Treatment, choose Ask my accountant and enter their email.
- 02
They get a one-page summary
A PDF listing each option, what it means, the entries it produces, its citation, and whether the guidance is settled or unsettled. Also the facts you have recorded, such as your books basis and where the stablecoins are held.
- 03
They review in Gladpaid
The invite gives them a reviewer seat. They can read, comment, and choose the policy.
- 04
The choice is recorded
Who chose it, when, and which policy version, all in the audit trail. Posting can start.
What a reviewer can and cannot do
| Can | Cannot |
|---|---|
| Read every match, entry, evidence and audit record | Post to the ledger |
| Comment on items | Change matches or account mapping |
| Choose or change the treatment policy | See or change billing |
| Sign off a month-end close as reviewer | Invite other members |
While you wait, matching and the diagnostic keep working, and the ready-to-post batch builds up. Nothing posts until the policy is set.
Reviewer sign-off on the month-end close is included on Business, Scale and Firm plans. See Month-end close and Team members and roles.
