Sending to the owner to activate

The bookkeeper does the work; the owner pays in one click from an email, without learning a new tool.

Updated

Often the person who uses Gladpaid is not the person who pays for it. A bookkeeper can sign up, connect the ledger, run the diagnostic and get entries ready to post without the owner. When it is time to pay, the bookkeeper hands over with one button.

How it works

  1. 01

    The bookkeeper sends it

Choose Send to owner to activate from the diagnostic or the ready-to-post batch, and enter the owner's email.

  2. 02

    The owner gets the number

The email carries the diagnostic's real figure, for example "$36,900 of invoices QuickBooks still shows unpaid were paid in stablecoins", and one checkout link.

  3. 03

    One click to pay

The link opens a secure checkout for the plan the bookkeeper chose. No password to set, nothing to learn.

  4. 04

    Done

The owner is added to the business with the Owner role for billing. The bookkeeper's work carries on without a pause.

The owner never has to log in

Each month, when the close completes, the owner gets a one-page summary by email:

  • Stablecoins received and invoices closed.
  • Average days from invoice to payment compared with card payments.
  • Network fees paid on-chain, next to what a card or stablecoin processor would have charged.
  • Close status, such as "March books closed 2 days early".

Owners can sign in any time to see everything, change the plan or cancel. See Billing and the trial and Team members and roles.

Firms that pay for their clients do not need this step. See The firm console.
